More, Please!
In the spring of 2017, Becky and Rachel set out to record a short EP—just a sampling of five tracks to introduce the Eloise & Co. sound to the world. By the winter of 2017, they were ready to release the EP, but they were having so much fun with the recording process that they decided to keep going and create a full album!

Bio
Eloise & Co. features the combined creative force of two of the country’s most sought-after traditional musicians, fiddler Becky Tracy and accordionist Rachel Bell.
These two, sometimes playing as a duo and other times joined by Bethany Waickman (guitar), Rachel Aucoin (piano), or Owen Morrison (guitar), crank out concert and dance music with unbridled energy and soaring beauty. Originally thrown together at a gig where Becky led the contra dance portion of the evening and Rachel led the French dance part of the evening, they have continued to fuse these two elements into their concerts and dances, as well as adding songs and original compositions to the mix. Their first recording, “More, Please” was released in July of 2018. In 2022, they created a series of exquisite music videos set in the midst of significant Vermont landmarks with the help of a grant awarded by the Vermont Arts Council. Becky and Rachel launched their monthly “Brattleboro Bal Folk” French dance series in 2023, which has blossomed into a thriving community of dancers and musicians. Their most recent recording features two tunes that Rachel wrote, inspired by the Brattleboro Bal Folk dance series: Broad Brook/No Ordinary Storm, available on Bandcamp, by Eloise & Co. with Bethany Waickman on guitar. Currently, Becky and Rachel are excitedly preparing to dive into a recording project with “Eloise & Elodie,” their trio configuration with Rachel Aucoin on piano.

“It would be difficult to overstate the sheer joy experiencing Eloise & Co. brings. It exhibits my favorite combination of exuberant, even virtuosic playing with loose precision—a favorite oxymoron—and earthy, vulnerable vocals. Having recorded a great deal of Celtic, acoustic, Americana, et. Al. Over the years, 'Eloise's' qualities make its performances instantly accessible.”
